Definition of Poultry & Livestock Feed:
Poultry & Livestock Feed, generally referred to the food of farmed poultry and livestock animals. It is a kind of conventional feed in the feed classification.
The common raw materials are mainly consist of corn, wheat, barely, oats, sorghum, soyabean, soyabean meal, fish meal, amino acids, miscellaneous meal, whey powder, oil, meat and bone meal, grains, feed additives etc. more than ten varieties of raw materials.
Introduction of Main Process:
The features of this 8-11tph poultry & livestock feed mill plant are that the crush fineness is moderate (the hole diameter of screen is 2-4mm), the curing degree is moderate (the pellet mill use double-layer conditioner), the diameter size of finish pellets is large (about 2.5-4mm). This feed mill plant’s capacity is designed to be 10tph, using one grinding process, one automatic dosing process, one mixing process, one pelleting process and one bagging process. The total power of this line is about 390kw, the working land size is about 16*11*26m, and matching 1ton boiler. The poultry and livestock feed mill plant has compact design, reasonable structure and meets the requirement of environmental protection. It can be customized according to customer’s requirements.

RM Receiving & Precleaning System:
The usage of cleaning system is removing the raw materials’ impurities, such as rope, clod, corn cob etc. non-magnetic impurities and iron nail magnetic impurities. It can ensure the quality of products and the safety of the subsequent processing equipment. The RM receiving & pre-cleaning system is divided into granule pellets feeding cleaning and mash feed feeding cleaning.
Cleaning Equipment: SCY80 Drum Cleaner for Granule Pellets Cleaning, with 20-30tph capacity; SQLZ60X50X100 Powder Cleaner, with 10-15tph capacity for powder material cleaning.
The usage of grinding system is increasing the specific surface area of feed which is good for animal digestion and absorption and improving the processing performance of raw materials. This feed mill plant adopts 2 set of hammer mills. There are 2pcs of pre-grinding bins on the top of the 2 set of hammer mills. The impurities in the raw materials will be removed by tubular magnet device before feeding into the pre-grinding bins, to ensure that the hammer mill can operate safely. The cleaned raw materials will feed into the hammer mill chamber for grinding. Then the crushed materials will be transported to the bucket elevator through the screw conveyor, and then feeding into the dosing bins via the rotary distributor. When transporting, one set of auxiliary suction system will be needed. It not only saves energy, but also prevents dust spillage, lowers material temperature and improves crushing efficiency.
Crushing Equipment: Hammer Mill SFSP668*800，110kw, with 10-15tph capacity.
Dosing & Mixing System:
This dosing system is designed according to different feed formula, is accurate weighing process of different raw materials by using specific device. The mixing system is mixing various materials under the action of external force, after various materials are metered. It is an operation that makes the raw materials distribute evenly.
This process use two set of dosing scales, 16 pcs dosing bins and the manual adding system with checking scale. After the dosing and weighing process are finished, the raw materials enter the mixer for mixing, and finally the raw materials are output by chain conveyor and bucket elevator.
Weighing Equipment: Dosing Scale PCS10/PCS05, dosing accuracy≤3‰ . Mixer: SHSJ2, 18.5kw, 1000kg per batch, with capacity 10-15tph, the mixing homogeneity CV≤5%.
The purpose of pelleting system is to make finely divided, dust-prone, poorly palatable and difficult-to-ship feeds into granule pellets by the action of heat, moisture and pressure in the pelleting process. It can improve the palatability of the feed, reduce the feed-meat ratio, reduce feed waste and reduce environmental pollution.
This process adopt one set SZLH420 pellet mill with 2-layer conditioner. There are 2pcs pre-pelleting bins on the top of the pellet mill. After pelleting, the final pellets enter the cooler, crumbler in order, then conveyed by bucket elevetor to the rotary screener for sifting, and finally enter to the bagging bins for bagging. Others will return to pellet mill machine or crumbler machine for re-process.
Pellet Mill: SZLH420, 110kw, with 8-11tph capacity.
Cooler: SKLN6, with 10-15tph capacity.
The finish product bagging system can divide into bulk bagging and bag bagging two types. According to the weighing in the packaging operation, the automation degree of the filling and packaging, it can be divided into three types: manual bagging, semi-automatic bagging and fully automatic bagging. The selection of the bagging type can be determined according to the customers’ requirements, the size of the feed mill plant and the size of the investment.
The dust removal system: it is used in the bagging system which can improving the working environment for workers.
Oil adding system: it is usually used in mixing system, it can improve the feed palatability.
